July Wrap Up | Germany Here I Come !

Hello everyone !

This month has been crazy. I got my Wifi back (thank god) and I realized how much I depended on it. Besides reading, writing reviews and cleaning (I did a lot of cleaning. Without wifi I'm the cleanest person in the world), I was pretty bored. Also, as you may have noticed I started blogging again ! I missed it so much and I'm so glad I'm doing it again. During my break, I  read some of your posts (before I had my wifi problems) and you all inspired me to come back to this blog and keep doing what I love so thank you for being awesome !

Now let's talk about today's announcement : I'm going on vacation for 2 weeks ! While you're reading this, I'm probably in the north of France. I'm going to visit a city there and then I'll go to Germany. You can't imagine how excited I am. I'm probably going to try speaking German... And fail miserably since I can't speak German (except hello and money. It's a good start, right ?) but it's going to be fun.
Don't worry though, I have some posts scheduled for you. Let me know if you want me to do a post about where I'm going and all of that.

Let's move on to the actual wrap up.

Desi Lee believes anything is possible if you have a plan. That’s how she became student body president. Varsity soccer star. And it’s how she’ll get into Stanford.

But—she’s never had a boyfriend. In fact, she’s a disaster in romance, a clumsy, stammering humiliation magnet whose botched attempts at flirting have become legendary with her friends. So when the hottest human specimen to have ever lived walks into her life one day, Desi decides to tackle her flirting failures with the same zest she’s applied to everything else in her life.
She finds guidance in the Korean dramas her father has been obsessively watching for years—where the hapless heroine always seems to end up in the arms of her true love by episode ten. It’s a simple formula, and Desi is a quick study.

What Diversity Means to Me

Hello everyone, it's time to be controversial !

I hesitated a lot before doing this post but I need to have this discussion because I don't like how the community is changing. I realize I might be hated for what I'm going to say so I'm going to ask you to keep an open mind.

This discussion is obviously going to be about diversity. I support diversity all the way. To me, diversity is realizing that there are different types of people in the world. It may be a very simplistic definition but that's how I see it. When you read diversely, you open up to different cultures, different point of views, different people with issues you're probably never going to have and that's what makes it beautiful. Our differences. It'd be so boring if we were all the same after all.
This world is full of many types of people and it'd be a shame not to read about all of them (or at least try).

Addy, the beauty, is the picture-perfect homecoming princess.

Nate, the criminal, is already on probation for dealing.

Cooper, the athlete, is the all-star baseball pitcher.

And Simon, the outcast, is the creator of Bayview High’s notorious gossip app.

Only, Simon never makes it out of that classroom. Before the end of detention Simon's dead. And according to investigators, his death wasn’t an accident. On Monday, he died. But on Tuesday, he’d planned to post juicy reveals about all four of his high-profile classmates, which makes all four of them suspects in his murder. Or are they the perfect patsies for a killer who’s still on the loose?

Everyone has secrets, right? What really matters is how far you would go to protect them
